Women’s Studies Research Centre (WSRC) brings researchers and the broader community together around issues of gender and sexuality across cultures and contexts. WSRC is committed to promoting research and dialogue in areas crucial to the development of women’s, gender, sexuality, and diversity studies. We organize seminars, conferences and symposia and are a hub of research, connection, and efforts to achieve equity and expand opportunity for all.
We will continue with our recently launched seminar series, “Gender Plus,” which sponsors events that engage stakeholders from across the university.
Everyone is welcome to the first general meeting of the academic year. We will introduce you to our current projects and talk about next steps for the WSRC. If you are new to HKU or the WSRC, please come to find out more about us. If you are a returning member, please come and share your ideas with us.
If you would like more information about this event or if you would like to be placed on the WSRC mailing list, please contact Kasey Wong manmanw@hku.hk and please “like” us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/wsrchk/).
