About the Event
After Victory: the Waves of Returning Exiles in 1945 and 1946 with Professor Diana Lary
The event is a public lecture by Professor Diana Lary of the Department of History, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, a very well known historian of modern China. It is co-sponsored by the Department of History, and is the keynote address of an international workshop that is taking place then. It will focus upon refugee movements within Asia at the end of World War II.
